Dolores E. Marx's Obituary
Dolores E. Marx, age 90, of Oshkosh, formerly of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Eden Meadows Rehabilitation in Oshkosh. She was born on December 10, 1934 a daughter of the late Valentine and Loretta (Gundert) Weber. Dolores married James Lawrence Marx on July 17, 1954 and he preceded her in death on October 5, 2019. She had worked for and retired from Mercury Marine Corp. having been a long time resident of Fond du Lac and had been a member Holy Family Catholic Church there. Dolores will be remembered for her love of family and greatly enjoying time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by her two sons, John ( Ruth) Marx of Oshkosh and William (Jennifer) Marx of Huntsville, Alabama; two grandchildren, Daniel and Lauren Marx both of Huntsville, Alabama. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence and a sister, Violet.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Dolores on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 11 am in St. Jude Parish, St. Vincent Catholic Church, 1225 Oregon Street in Oshkosh with the Rev. Louis Golamari as celebrant. A time of visitation will be held at the church prior to the Mass from 9:30 am until the time of Mass. Inurnment will be in Ledge View Memorial Park in Fond du Lac.
