Donald Zentner's Obituary
Donald Frank Zentner, age 88, of Oshkosh passed away on Wednesday June 4, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Oshkosh on December 12, 1925 the son of Kurt and Elizabeth (Zeller) Zentner. He served his Country in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. Donald married LaDonne "Donna" (Meyer) on June 28, 1952. Before his retirement he was the Co Owner of Zentner plumbing and Heating. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Various Golf and Bowling Leagues. He was a faithful member of St. Jude Parish (Sacred Heart Church). Donald is survived by his wife LaDonne"Donna" Zentner of Oshkosh. One son; Joel (Special friend Sara Barndt) Zentner of Oshkosh and one daughter; Jeanne (Mike) Johnson of North Carolina. Two brothers; William (Muriel) Zentner of Madison and Walter (Doris) Zentner of Lake Mary, FL. One sister; Doris Pasono of Oshkosh. Three grandchildren; Tyler (Emily Ann), Haldan and Emily. Three great grandchildren; Leif, Neil and Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Kurt and two sisters; Jane and Ruth. Memorial services will be held on Saturday June 7, 2014 at 11:30am at the Poklasny Funeral Home. 870 W. South Park Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54902. Father Matt Simonar will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 10am until the time of service. Private committal services will be held at Riverside Catholic Cemetery.
