Donna M. Bersch's Obituary
Donna Mae Bersch, age 73 of Oshkosh, Wisconsin died on Friday September 29, 2023 after fighting cancer for several years.
She was born September 25, 1950 in Berlin, Wisconsin, the daughter and only child of the late Ralph and Sophie Redemann (Druggish) of Berlin Wisconsin.
Donna was married to Carl F. Bersch of Winneconne, Wisconsin and together they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on September 15, 2023.
She was a member of St. Raphael Church of Oshkosh and she attended Berlin High School graduating as valedictorian in 1968 and was a graduate of University of Oshkosh, Wisconsin in 1972.
Donna was a talented instructor teaching math, accounting and income tax classes at both the Appleton and Oshkosh campuses of Fox Valley Technical College for many years. While working at FVTC Donna received several awards and she played an active part in campus life as the Student Activities Advisor.
Donna also had an Income Tax Preparation Service with her husband Carl for numerous years. She loved touching base and visiting with all of their tax clients each year.
Donna enjoyed her time with friends and family and especially loved traveling to Las Vegas and Branson to attend shows, visiting Disneyland, and because she loved Elvis, Graceland was definitely a must.
She loved all of her pet rabbits but most especially Snuggles.
Donna touched many lives in so many positive ways, and her memory will remain in our hearts forever.
Donna is survived by her husband, Carl F. Bersch, of Oshkosh; brother-in-law Clyde Bersch, of Winneconne: two sisters-and brothers in-law Gwen and Mike Biddle, of Winneconne; and Marc and Kathy Blum of Oshkosh.
She is survived by her niece Patty Bersch, Patty’s son Jamie Bersch and Jamie’s son Silas Bersch. Donna is also survived by her nieces and nephews Madeleine (Ashley) Blum and Jay Kurtz, Berkeley and Ali Blum and their son Jace, Chelsea and Ian Chabal and their sons Noah and Eric, and Merriman and Marine Blum and their daughter Lana.
Donna was predeceased by her father and mother-in-law Merriman E. Bersch and Florence R. Bersch and her brother and sister-in-law John M. and Shirley Bersch.
On Monday October 9th there will be a visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S Westhaven Drive. The Rosary will be said following the visitation.
Funeral services with a Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday October 10th, at St. Raphael's Church, 830 South Westhaven Drive, a visitation will commence at 10:00 am with mass beginning at 11:00 am with a reception following.
Donna’s burial will take place on Wednesday October 11th in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery, near Berlin, WI at 1:00 pm.
