Donna Mae Koelbl's Obituary
Donna Mae Koelbl, age 84, of Oshkosh, loving wife and mother passed away peacefully after a sudden illness on October 16, 2014. Donna was born on June 19, 1930 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late Howard Lincoln and Mary Elizabeth (Schmidt) Allen. She married Joseph F. Koelbl on June 26, 1948 in Oshkosh. She was a member of St. Jude Parish in Oshkosh and loved traveling with Joe. For many years she also greatly enjoyed bowling and was always a voracious reader. Donna will be sorely missed by her husband Joseph and children.
She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by her husband, Joseph of Oshkosh; three sons, James (Diane) of Menomonee Falls, Thomas (Karen) and Steven, both of Oshkosh; six daughters, Susan Baumgart of Sheboygan, Karen (David) DeBruin of Fond du Lac, Mary (Gerald) Gutoski of Brookfield, Quinn (Dennis) Martinson of Appleton, Connie (Stanley) Schuster and Kristin (Jeffrey) Isham, both of Oshkosh. 19 grandchildren, Steven Weinert, Julie Weinert, Kathrine Baumgart, Michael DeBruin, Robert DeBruin, Alexandra Koelbl, James Gutoski, Jean Dunk, Joseph Gutoski, Kevin Martinson, Kyle Martinson, Daniel Schuster, Matthew Schuster, Tyler Koelbl, Ryan Koelbl, Lauren Isham, Samuel Isham, Sophia Isham and Adam Koelbl. She is further survived by ten great-grandchildren, other relatives and many dear friends, and special friend, Maggie Diener.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Donna on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Jude Parish, St. Vincent Catholic Church, the corner of Oregon St. and South Park Ave. in Oshkosh. The Reverend Matt Simonar as celebrant. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held at the church for the family on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
