Doreen E. Effertz's Obituary
Effertz (formerly Zielinski), Doreen Elizabeth “Busia” of Oshkosh, WI, formerly of Milwaukee, WI passed away peacefully in her home, as were her wishes, on March 7, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. Loving mother of Stacey Lynn Fuchs (Tony). Grandmother “Busia” to Dylan Milby, Joseph Fuchs and Robert Fuchs. Sister to Kathleen (Tina) Fisher (nee Effertz) (Rick) and Patrick Effertz (Kelly). Preceded in death by her daughter Colleen Meyer and her brothers Peter Effertz, Tom Effertz and James Effertz. Doreen proudly served as a Civilian Maintenance Scheduler for the 440th Airlift Wing “The Base” for 20 years. A celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined.
