Doris H. Traxler's Obituary
Doris H. Traxler, age 96, passed away at Bethel Home - Oshkosh on August 29, 2021.
Doris Hazel Miller was born to George and Myrtle Miller on April 29th, 1925 in Bruce, Wisconsin. She went on to marry Lawrence Traxler on July 20, 1946. They raised their family on the farm, while she also worked outside the home. Doris retired from SNC in Oshkosh. She traveled often to Florida and Oregon to visit her siblings. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. Their children and grandchildren hold many special memories of her wonderful home-cooked meals, holiday and family celebrations, and time spent with her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, two sons (Joey and Frank), her sisters Arlene and Hilda, brother Max, many dear sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, sons-in-law Greg Kulibert and Rhody Moxon, grandson David Moxon, and great-great-granddaughter Hazel Moxon.
She is survived by her children Anthony Traxler, Sally Beckerson (Bret Anschutz), Catherine Kulibert (David Ziehm), Jean Moxon, Mark Traxler (Betz), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Doris's family would like to express special thanks to the staff at Bethel home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (Sacred Heart Church) at 6th and Knapp Streets. The showing is at 10am and the Mass begins at 11am. Committal services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
