Dorothy Harrard's Obituary
Dorothy A. Harrand age 98 of Oshkosh passed away peacefully on Sunday evening September 27, 2009 at Bethel Home. She was born in Oshkosh on December 11, 1910 the daughter of Herbert and Clara Koppen after the death of her parents she was adopted by grandparents Fred and Magdalena Schrader. She married Joseph Harrand in Oshkosh, WI. Dorothy was employed at the Candle Company in Oshkosh for many years as a decorator. She was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Dorothy is survived by grandson Mark Harrand, granddaughter Geri Hayes, nephew Hal Schrader, niece Gayle Schrader, grand niece April and sister-in-law Enid. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph in 1980, one son Joseph in 1993, one sister Lorraine Spiczenski in 2008 and one brother Harold Schrader in 2009. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 30, 2009 at the Lake View Memorial Park Chapel in Oshkosh at 10am. The Rev. Marvin J. Ahlborn will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday in the Chapel from 9:30am until the hour of service at 10am. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Dorothy's name.
