Dorothy B. Luebke's Obituary
Dorothy Luebke, age 84, of Oshkosh passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, May 8th, 2019 at her residence. She was born June 20th, 1934 in Oshkosh, WI, a daughter of the late Rudolph and Dolly (Hasse) Karl. On September 18th, 1954 in Oshkosh she married Theodore Luebke. He preceded her in death on April 2nd, 1985. Dorothy married Donald Melhorn on August 20th, 1988.
She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. She was employed at Oshkosh Area School district for 24 years. She loved to cook, entertain and spend time with family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by daughter, Jeanne Luebke-Macho; a son, Dan (Mary) Luebke; Grandchildren, Tyler and Devon Macho, Brandi (Zach) Dehler, Kayla and Isaiah Luebke; One great grandson, Ryder; a sister, Nancy Neubauer; and family friend, Michael Macho. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by Donald Melhorn, and son, Theodore “Teddy” Luebke Jr. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Memorial Service for Dorothy will be held on Saturday May 18, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. at Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 South Westhaven Drive Oshkosh, WI 54904. Rev. Jennifer Czarnota will be officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of service.
