Douglas Robert Weidner's Obituary
Douglas Robert Weidner, age 65, of Oshkosh passed away on Sunday evening March 6, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Oshkosh on March 31, 1950 the son of Edward and Ruth (Coca) Weidner. He married Barbara Boushele on April 4, 1970 in Oshkosh. After high school Doug served his Country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Doug was employed at the Leach Company as a machinist for 36 years. Doug was a avid San Francisco 49ers fan. Doug is survived by his wife; Barbara Weidner and his mother; Ruth Weidner both of Oshkosh. Two sons; Rick (Tiffany) Weidner of Michigan and Ryan Weidner of Oshkosh. Two daughters; Paula (Michael) Weidner and Heidi (Eric) Braatz all of Oshkosh. One brother; Darwin (Julie) Weidner of Oshkosh. Four sisters; Darlene Molski and Mary Weidner both of Oshkosh. Gloria (Mark) Wendt of Redgranite and Diane Weidner of Milwaukee. Father-in-law; Harold Boushele of Oshkosh. Six grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Doug was preceded in death by his father; Edward and one brother; Edward, Jr. Mother-in-Law; Jane Boushele. A visitation for Doug will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Poklasny Funeral Home at 870 W. South Park Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54902 from 4pm until 6pm. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Doug's name.
