Drew Saint James' Obituary
Drew Saint James, age 61, of Oshkosh, died Thursday December 17, 2020 at St Elizabeth’s Hospital in Appleton. He was born in Oshkosh, on June 14, 1959 the son of the late Victor and Luella Wing Stieg Sr. Drew was employed as a In Home Care Nurse working with Advocap in Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, and Neenah.
Drew was enjoyed volunteering weather it was at his apartment complex in the kitchen, volunteering at Saint Vincent De Paul’s at the community food panty Adcocap and many other places. Drew loved to spend time out door, fishing, walking trails, and he had a great compassion for plants/flowers, he was able to bring any plant to its normal roots when it was staring to go bad. Most importantly Drew loved spending his time with his niece and nephews and his great niece and nephews. Drew was a very compassionate person with a heart of gold that would help anyone in need and could always make anyone in any mood laugh and have a good time. As the family of Drew, we would like to send out our sincere thankfulness and appreciate to the staff at St. Elizabeth’s hospital that had cared for Drew during his stay at the hospital. I have added pictures to his "wall" on the website there is one that is from when he was younger and a more current one.
Drew is survived by four brothers; Victor (Sandy) Stieg Jr., Greg (Jackie) Stieg, Jeff (Brenda) Stieg Sr., Dale Reynolds Jr, three sisters; Kathy (Clem) Goodacre Jr., Cindy Miller, Lea Ann Rivera all of Oshkosh, his foster mother; Julia (David) Appel, one foster son; Andy (Arica) Hulce, two foster grandsons; Ethan, Kalib Hulce, foster brothers; George (Toni) Appel, Ray (Marchia) Appel, and one foster sister; Janet (Mike) Snyder. Drew is further survived nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, great-great-nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his best friend; Jay Jessonge.
He was preceded in death by two brothers; Raymond Stieg Sr., and Joseph Miller.
Due to the pandemic a memorial service for Drew will be held in June of 2021 at Poklasny Funeral Home.
