Eileen M. Scholl's Obituary
Eileen Marie (Thomas) Scholl, age 85, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026 with her family by her side at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, WI. She was born on November 15, 1940 in Baraboo, WI to the late Russell and Ernestine (Volz) Thomas. Eileen graduated from Baraboo High School in 1958. On March 1, 1960, she married Kenneth Charles Scholl who preceded her in death on January 1, 2025. Eileen worked at Oshkosh B’Gosh before working for the Oshkosh Public Schools in the food service department from 1979 – 2003 when she retired. Eileen recently moved to Bella Vista – Independent Living in Oshkosh and had made many new friends and enjoyed all the activities that were available. Eileen enjoyed ATV riding in her younger years, camping, playing cards and gambling. Her family was very important to her.
Eileen is survived by her daughter, Lori (Todd) Schneider of Oshkosh and two sons, Gerald (Dawn) Scholl of Oshkosh and Scott Scholl of Van Dyne; a brother, Earl (Diane) Thomas of Baraboo; five grandchildren, Tyler (Danielle) Scholl, Ryan (Sydney) Scholl, Alex Scholl, Jamie Stenson and Kaci Hansen; three great grandchildren, Brianna Stenson, Baily Stenson and Paisley Scholl. She is further survived by other relatives and many dear friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their care and compassion for mom.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 11 am in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials will be made to Children’s Hospital Milwaukee, Bella Vista and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
