Elaine Hanford's Obituary
Elaine Hanford, age 83, of Oshkosh, died Friday March 30, 2012 at Evergreen Manor in Oshkosh. She was born in Oshkosh on November 5, 1928 the daughter of the late William and Emma Haase Sanborn. Elaine married Fredrick Hanford on June 5, 1948. He preceded her in death on March 19, 2004.
Survivors include three three sons; Ron Hanford, Oshkosh, Rick (Deb) Hanford, Omro, Randy (Michelle) Hanford, Oshkosh, two daughters; Merry Ellwanger, Minneapolis, MN., Iola (Jerry) Johnson, Omro, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one special niece; Blanche Barthels. Elaine is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; Don Sanborn, Rudy Sanborn, three sisters; Ethel Gehrke, Lillian Mueller, and Mabel Lee.
Funeral services for Elaine will be held in Fiss & Bills Funeral Home (865 S. Westhaven) on Saturday April 14, at 11:00AM with the Rev. Ted Tredgeon officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00AM until the hour of services.
