Elaine M. Patt's Obituary
Elaine M. Patt, age 90, of Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Courtyard in Oshkosh with her family at her side. Elaine was born on May 10, 1932 a daughter of the late George and Clara (Pofahl) Wesenberg. She was raised in Van Dyne, WI and attended a one room school through 8th grade. Elaine graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1950. She was united in marriage to Donald C. Patt on June 10, 1950 in Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. The couple enjoyed nearly 72 years together. Elaine was a stay at home mom until her youngest child started school. She was employed at K Mart from 1969 when the store opened until her retirement in 1994. Elaine was an avid reader and liked word search books and doing puzzles and sewing. Don and Elaine enjoyed spending time at their land in Adams-Friendship with their family.
Elaine is survived by and her memory will be cherished by her husband Don; five children, Rosemary (Dave Hansen) Schoblaske, Cheryl (Gary) Schoenberger, Jeff (Tom Perzentka) Patt, Mike (Cathy) Patt, and Laurie (Jim) Kleveno. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Alan Wesenberg and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Ronald, Glenn and Raymond Wesenberg and Lois Sosinski and Nancy Sepanski; nieces, Mary Beth Sosinski, Debra Wesenberg and a nephew, David Wesenberg.
Funeral services for Elaine will be held on Thursay, June 2, 2022 at 5:00 pm in Peace Lutheran Church, W. 9th Avenue in Oshkosh with the Rev. Roland Lindeman officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at the Courtyard for their loving care of our mom, especially Barb, Bobbi and Babbling Brook.
