Eleanor Maslowski's Obituary
Eleanor C. Maslowski, age 65, cherished wife, mother and grandmother died unexpectedly on January 29, 2013 in Oshkosh. Ellie was born in Oshkosh on November 10, 1947 the daughter of the late Anthony and Gertrude Egner Lueck. She married John E. Maslowski in St. John's Catholic Church in Oshkosh on May 21, 1964. Ellie worked as the Office Administrator for the Dean of Students at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She was a talented seamstress and for several years created, designed and sewed costumes for Lourdes Acadamy musicals.
Survivors include her husband, John Maslowski, of Oshkosh, one son, Michael (Julie) Maslowski, Oshkosh, two daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Behring, New Berlin, WI., Debbie (Robert) Casteel, Green Bay, six grandchildren, Olivia, Jacqueline Behring, Emma, Claire Casteel, Max, Mia Maslowski, one grandchild to be born in February of 2013, three brothers, Carl, Oshkosh, Clifford (Anita), Stamford, CT., Gregory (Rebecca) Lueck, Vancover, WA., three sisters, Marie Meidl-Welle, Oshkosh, Dorothy Stahl, Richmond, IN., and Bernice (Richard) Vajgrt, Port Washington, WI. Ellie is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence Lueck, and one sister, Betty Jane Lueck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 2, in St. Raphael's Catholic Church at 10:00AM with the Rev. Doug Le Captain officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00AM until the hour of services. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to The Lourdes Acadamy Music Department.
