Elizabeth Ann Florio's Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Florio (nee Murphy) of Oshkosh, passed away on June 17, 2020. She was born in Murphysboro, Illinois on December 21, 1928. She and her husband Philip Florio Jr. of the same home town moved to Wisconsin in 1995 to be closer to their youngest daughter, Mary Elizabeth (Angelo) Porcelli of Chicago. The Florio's had five children, seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Florio retired from the US Air Force as Lt. Colonel in 1974. The other children include Judith C. (Robert) Lindsey of Chicago, Jane (William) Davis of Walpole, N.H., Tony (Jayne) Florio of Marble Hill, MO and Mark Florio of Murphysboro, IL; Mr. Florio has one sister surviving, Pat Wadley of St. Charles, MO. Mrs. Florio was 91.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 4:00 pm in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
