Elizabeth Lautenschlager's Obituary
Elizabeth Lautenschlager, 85, of Oshkosh passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on January 14, 2026. She was born on February 10th, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Herman and Genevieve Link. She was married to her soulmate, John Lautenschlager, for 44 years.
She enjoyed traveling, bowling, golfing and hosting parties with her family and friends. Liz loved watching football never missing her favorite team, the Chicago Bears.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, John, her daughters Deanna (Billy) and Genevieve (Jim) and son John (Ann), and a loving brother Royal (LeAnn). as well as a beloved stepson Steve (Staci). Grandchildren are Sarah, Meghan, Jimi, Becky, Lauren, Erica, Cortney, Alexa and Jackson. Great grandchildren are Carley, Alicia, Alivia, Gia and Madison.
Liz was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved brother Peter and her grandson Nick.
Her family wishes to extend sincere gratitude for the loving and compassionate care given over the past year by Kim at Senior Helpers and to Lexi, Marissa and the whole remarkable team at Moments Hospice.
Per Liz’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
The family requests memorial donations be made in Elizabeth’s name to Moments Hospice.
