Ethel M. Schneider's Obituary
Ethel M. Schneider, age 90, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 3, 2014. She was born on August 8, 1924 in Pueblo, Colorado a daughter of the late Phillip and Ethel (Wilson) Harsch. Ethel married Robert M. Schneider on June 29, 1943 in Idaho. Robert preceded her in death on August 15, 2009. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh and had worked at the former H.C. Prange Store in Oshkosh for 21 years. She greatly enjoyed time spent with her family and time traveling with her husband Robert. She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by two sons, Robert A. of Appleton and Steven J. of Oshkosh; two daughters, Katherine A. “Kay” Schneider of Oshkosh and Joan M. Schneider of Milwaukee; a grandson, David T. (Jeri) Kaufmann of Little Chute and three great-grandchildren, Isabella, David Jr. and Emily Joan. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M; a son, Mark; brothers, Robert, Richard and John; sisters, Katherine, Dorothy and Phyllis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Ethel on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh. The Reverend James Jugenheimer as celebrant. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Inurnment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
