EUGENE MUELLER's Obituary
Eugene E. Mueller, age 81, of Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Evergreen Manor in Oshkosh. He was born Dec. 23, 1933 in Oshkosh, the son of Louis and Alice (Wentland) Mueller. Eugene served in the United States Air Force from March 1954 to March 1958 and was stationed in Alaska during the Korean War. Eugene worked before and after his military service at The Paine Lumber Company where he met Esther (Mitzi) Gose, his wife of fifty-two years. They were married on Sept. 12, 1959 at Martin Luther Church officiated by her father Rev. Roy Gose. He then worked for Kimberly Clark Corporation at the Atlas Mill for over thirty-five years before retiring in 1995. Eugene enjoyed bowling, remodeling his home and watching classic TV shows, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. He will always be remembered for his love of telling stories, sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. His memory will be cherished by his children Craig (Sandi) Mueller of Neenah, Susan (Richard) Berry of Oshkosh, Mark Mueller of Oshkosh and Cynthia (Joseph) Demler of Oshkosh; grandchildren Ryan Mueller, Tyler Mueller, Ashley (Scott) Hrncirik, Nicole Berry and Rachel Mueller, great grandchildren Allison and Hannah Hrncirik. He will also be missed by his sister, Ionne Berndt and brother, Louis Mueller Jr. Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, parents and sister Sylvia. The family wishes to thank the staff at Evergreen Manor and Affinity Hospice Nursing for the thoughtful care Eugene received. A private ceremony and burial was held on Friday April 10, 2015.
