EVELYN BECK's Obituary
Evelyn J Beck, age 91, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday January 22, 2019 at a Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born in Pickett WI., on March 26, 1927 the daughter of the late Edwin and Julia Goodrich Gruetzmacher. Evelyn married Henry Beck in Oshkosh on May 10, 1950. He preceded her in death on February 8, 1987. Until the time of her retirement Evelyn was employed as a nurse in Oshkosh. She was a member of the Oshkosh Legion, The 20th Century Club, The OB/GYN, and was a longtime member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (St Mary site). Evelyn enjoyed knitting and spending time with family and friends.
Evelyn is survived by three sons; Bruce (Kathryn), of Appleton, Henry J (Gail), Brown Deer WI., Chuck (Debbie) Beck, Fond du Lac, two daughters; Teri Yelich, St Charles MO., Cyndi Wegner, Orlando Fl., Amanda, Erin Beck, Becca Yelich, Josi (Mike) Beck, Rachel Beck, Andrew (Staci), Penny Robinson, Ruth, Emily, Samantha, Rebecca Beck, eight great-grandchildren; Dakota, Autumn Bruley, Tesher, Rue Trestyn, Jack Horton, Drake, Ledger and Hudson Robinson. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; Harold and Donald Gruetzmacher.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 25, at 3:00 PM in Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (St Mary site) with the Rev Jerome Pastors officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 1:30 PM until the hour of services
