Fern Grout's Obituary
Fern V. Grout, 89 of Oshkosh died Wednesday March 20, 2013 at Bethel Home. She was born September 3, 1923 in the Town of Utica, the daughter of Ben and Theresa Densch Grout. Fern is survived by her daughter, Vivian (Gerald) Hass of Oshkosh. Her grandchildren, Gary Hass , Kathy (Jay) Masterson and Vicki (Roger) Roberts all of Oshkosh. Her great grandchildren, Tyler Hass, Emily (John) Postl, Joshua Masterson all of Oshkosh and Jamie (Craig) Rogers of Richland Center. She is further survived by her special friends, Margie Martin, Gloria Ganther, Susie Elbing and Dolores Clark. Many nieces relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Rose Messerschmidt, Faye Messerschmidt, Nina Cowan, Myrtle Grout and her brother Austin Grout. Private family services will be held in the Poklasny Funeral Home and burial will be in the Liberty Prairie Cemetery. Fern's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Bethel Home and Mercy Medical center and a special thank you to Carol Fredrick.
