Francis Joe Kosmer's Obituary
Francis "Joe" Kosmer, 78 of Oshkosh died Saturday January 9, 2016 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1937 in Green Bay the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth Rousso Kosmer. He married Laurelee Soappman in September of 1961. He was employed for many years at Rockwell Int., Morgan Doors and Speed Queen. He was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish and served his Country in the USMC Res. He was a life member of the Otter Street Fishing Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing dart ball and horseshoes. He also enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers and Bucks. Joe is survived by two sons, Michael (Lettie) Kosmer of Park Falls and Randy (Mary) Kosmer of Oshkosh and five grandchildren, Nicholas, Samantha, Kyle, Brianna and Mikayla: sister-in-law Margie (Jim) Hunt. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, seven brothers and sister-in-law Pat (Bob) Ehlke. Memorial services for Joe will be Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Poklasny Funeral Home, 870 W. South Park Ave, Oshkosh, the Rev. Matt Simonar officiating. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home Saturday from 9am until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers a Memorial has been established.
