Franz Pimiskern's Obituary
Franz Pimiskern, 84 of Oshkosh died Friday, April 3, 2015 at his home. He was born November 13, 1930 in Kapitanovo, Bosnia, then Yugoslavia the son of Franz sr. and Anna Pimiskern. He immigrated to Oshkosh from Austria with dad and two sisters in 1950. He worked at the Leach Co. and the Soo Line Railroad in Fond du lac. In 1957 he married Katherine Englemann. After his retirement in 1992, he moved to Hot Springs Vil AR to escape the cold Wisconsin winters. Franz belonged to the Oshkosh Soccer team in the 1950's, later played tennis and golf which was his passion. He is survives by his wife Katherine, His daughter Peggy Ann (Richard) Frank and his son David (Lisa) Pimiskern. Franz was blessed with two grandchildren , Nick Frank and Carley Pimiskern. Funeral services for Franz will be Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00am in the Poklasny Funeral Home, The Rev.William Van de Kreeke officiating. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home Saturday, from 9am until the time of services.
