Freda Richter's Obituary
Freda Mae Richter, age 73, of Oshkosh passed away on Tuesday September 17, 2013 at Arborview Manor in Oshkosh. She was born in Illinois on November 4, 1939 the daughter of Icle and Nirvina (Arnold) Dobey. She married Reid Richter in April of 1958 in Kansas. Freda is survived by two sons: Allen (Debbie) Richter of Oshkosh and Terry (Deborah) Richter of Waveland, MS. One daughter: Theresa (Scott) Smith of Oshkosh. One sister: Linda Fischer of Oshkosh. Eight grandchildren: Dawn, Sarah, Dana, Ashley, Stacia, Tanner, Taran and Logan. Six great grandchildren: Allize, Byanka, Xander, Parker, Carter and Drew. Special nieces: Tammy, Janice, Ronda and Melissa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Orlo Zimmerman, her husband Reid in 2005 and three sisters: Doris, Harriet and Betty Carol. Funeral services for Freda will be held on Wednesday September 25, 2013 at 11:30am at Christ Lutheran Church @ 222 Church Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54901. Rev. Jennifer Czarnota will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10am until the time of service. Private family committal services will be held in Clintonville, WI. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Freda's name.
