Frederick Farmer's Obituary

Fred graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where he studied under Dr Paul Donhauser. A master potter, Fred was also a painter and enjoyed carving gourds, creating many lovely and startling works. Fred was a long-time member and former President of Jambalaya Art Cooperative, where he had many friends to whom he was a peer, friend, mentor, and leader. A memorial fund will be established in his name to benefit the Jambalaya Art Gallery. He was a talented artist who enjoyed fishing with his friend Dave. He worked hard, played hard and loved life.
