Frederick Krueger's Obituary
Frederick George Krueger, born March 25, 1939, in Menominee, Wisconsin, spent his first 20 years of life in Knapp, Wisconsin. After graduating from UW-Stout, he became a graphic arts teacher in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Fritz was a consultant for the National Endowment of Arts for the Hearing Impaired. He also started one of the first flexo graphic printing programs for high school students in the state of Wisconsin, and he was especially proud of his working relationship with the graphic arts industry throughout the Fox River Valley and with the many students who entered the trade. In his later years, he was a volunteer at the Oshkosh Area Food Pantry. Fritz loved the outdoors, spending time fishing in his favorite trout streams and hunting with his son, Tracy, his grandson, Braxton, Alvin, Leon, Lane, Pete, Sid, and others. He also enjoyed downhill skiing throughout the West and physical fitness at the 20th Street YMCA in Oshkosh. He passed away peacefully at the age of 87. Fritz is survived by his son, Tracy, his grandson, Braxton, aka Buckshot, his daughter, Kara, grandchildren, Joseph and Katherine, sisters Paula and Frannie, many nieces and nephews, and some great friends. A special thank you to Dr. Klinkhammer, Monica, Lena, Wendy, and Denise for their great care. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Thank you for everything. You have been the best father a son and grandson could ever have. We will see you in heaven, but not quite yet. We will always have you in our memory and continue the fishing and hunting traditions.
