Gail Lauterbach's Obituary
Gail Theresa (Kiefert) Lauterbach was called home by our compassionate Father at age 67.
Gail resided in Oshkosh, WI until her passing on December 16, 2012.
Gail was born November, 23, 1945 to Gordon and Hope Kiefert of Green Bay WI. She spent much of her young life selflessly caring for seven children alongside voluntering for Hospice. She later returned to school and obtained a degree in Computer Programming. She worked many years for Nelson Marketing, later named 4-Imprint. We appreciate their supportive care and unwavering commitment to our mother. Gail loved traveling and spent much of her time camping all over the United States with her friend Sean and family members. She was an avid reader, loving to lose her self in a good story. Gizmo (her beloved dog) was a great friend and brought her many laughs. I am sure he is lost without her.
Gail is survived by her he mother, Hope Kiefert; long-time friend Sean Diener; and her children, Dawn Rousseau (friend Dan); Darrin Rousseau (wife Marnie); Troy Rousseau; Heather Kurth (husband Paul); and Jason Lauterbach. She has been blessed with 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Gail is preceded in death by two daughters, Theresa (Terri) Rousseau and Sherry Fink; her brother Gary Kiefert; and her father Gordon Kiefert. A celebration of life and eternal peace will be held December 21st at Poklasny Funeral Homes (South Park) Oshkosh, WI from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Condolences may be sent to Sean Diener at, 1205 Eastman St. Oshkosh, WI 54901.
We especially thank and are indebted to Sean Diener, for his loving friendship to our mother. We give thanks to the I.C.U. Doctors and staff for working as hard as they did. Mom, although you are no longer with us on this side of heaven, we rejoice in knowing you are with the God of creation. We look forward to a grand reunion! "For the Lord does not abandon anyone forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion according to the greatness of his unfailing love." Lamentations 3:22-26, 31-32.
