Garrett was devoted to nature, music, art, and animals, no matter how big or small. He loved his chihuahua, Maya, as well as cats, Brewer and Aria. Garrett was a masterful painter and created many beautiful works of art on canvas. He also excelled in frisbee golf and became a semi-professional while climbing the ranks in San Diego. While living in California, he frequently skateboarded through the sunshine. Garrett excelled as a great chef and could whip up amazing dishes. Whether he was on the coast line or in Wisconsin, Garrett always cheered on the Packers and Brewers as loud as he could.
One thing no one could escape is the giant hugs Garrett gave. No matter who you were or how bad things got, he was always there for a warm embrace. There was nothing bigger than his heart that was larger than life. Garrett will be missed, but never forgotten.
