Gatha L. Dembeck's Obituary
Gatha Lucille Dembeck, age 84, of Oshkosh, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019. She was born on February 7, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland. As a child Lucy lived in a rural wooded area and vacationed on the farm. Her pet cow's name was spot. She also had cats and dog as pets. Lucy's adult life was in the city. She loved to read and Lucy read many books, loved her bible and devotionals. She was a stay at home Mom with her children and granddaughter. She enjoyed having female friends of any age and had worked for a time in retail, as a care giver and in childcare. Lucy lived with Addison's disease for over 40 years, which took her independence from her in later years but it didn't take her ability to love, or her faith. Lucy moved in with her daughter and son in law of medical background to assist with her care. The love she gave is immeasurable favorite John 3:16 For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him shall not perish but have ever lasting life. God took his angel “Lucy home.” Lucy is remembered with love by family and friends. Family funeral services were held for Lucy at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh.
