Gayle Dee Rulseh's Obituary
Gayle D Rulseh, age 65, lost her courageous battle with leukemia on January 20, 2022. She was at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on January 12, 1957 to Bud and Helen Kruck.
As anyone who knows Gayle will tell you, she has always identified as a Mom. It was always her most important job. Her life has been about her kids. Raising them has been her profound pleasure!
Gayle graduated from Oshkosh West and attended UW Fox Valley and UW-Oshkosh.
Gayle was employed by American Air Environmental since March of 1997.
Gayle is survived by her husband John, children David (Matt) and Allison (Billy), and brother Gary (Karen) Kruck. Gayle is also survived by sister and brothers-in-law Marylou Rulseh, Monnie and Pat Wilson, Jayne Rulseh and Pat Simono, Katie and Dean Harris, Faye and Ron Detry along with many nieces and nephews.
She found another family at Evil Roy Slades whom were very important to her.
Gayle loved dogs, spending time with her Great Dane, going to High Cliff State Park and traveling to National Parks.
She looked forward with great anticipation to the NCAA basketball tournament. Reading, music (listening to and playing piano), and gardening were also favorite activities. Going to Broadway musicals were also highly anticipated.
She loved beachy sunsets and one of her favorite places was Siesta Key. Her solo trip to Australia was the pinnacle of her bucket list. Especially giving a koala a cuddle! In addition to many wonderful experiences, she was able to SCUBA with the sharks, hand feed wild dolphins, snorkel the Great Barrier Reef, and get up close and personal with kangaroos.
A time of sharing, remembering, and support will be held in the Poklasny Funeral Home on Saturday February 26, from 1:00-3:00 PM.
