Genevieve Galica's Obituary
Genevieve "Minnie" Galica, age 92, of Oshkosh, died Monday December 31, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Oshkosh on August 8, 1920 the daughter of the late Orville and Mary Penzenstadler Dolan. Minnie married John Galica in Oshkosh, on June 1, 1940.
Survivors include her husband, John Galica, of Oshkosh, two sons; Jerome, Ken Galica, Oshkosh, one daughter, Judy Tank, Oshkosh, thirteen grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren, twenty two great-great-grandchildren, one sister, and many other loving relatives, and friends.
Minnie was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Galica, seven sisters, one brother, and three grandchildren
Funeral services for Minnie will be held in Fiss & Bills Funeral Home (865 S Westhaven) on Saturday January 5, at 12:00PM with the Rev. Doug Le Captain officiating. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00AM until the hour of services. Minnie's family wishes to extend a special Thank you to Mercy Medical Center's Dialysis Department and all the staff at Mercy In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
