George John Meisel Jr.'s Obituary
George J. Meisel, Jr., 81, died on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in Oshkosh. George was born October 21, 1939 in Oshkosh to the late George Sr. and Elnora (Stafford) Meisel. In June of 1964 he married Mary Burnett. He worked at Mercury Marine for many years until his retirement in 2000.
George is survived by his wife, Mary Meisel of Oshkosh; two sons, Edward Meisel of Minneapolis and David (Shawna) Meisel of Oshkosh; grandson, Lorenzo Diomeda; brother, James (Kathy) Meisel; and brother-in-law, Al Kohnke.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy Meisel; and sister, June Kohnke.
As per George's wishes, there will not be a funeral.
