George J. "Dewy" Perdue's Obituary
George J (Dewy) Perdue passed away Sept.12,2023 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center. George was not alone, he was with his companion of almost 20 years, Carol, and the family, holding hands as he passed away.George (Dewy) was a jack of all trades. If something needed to be fixed, he was there to take care of it. His hobbies were collecting cookbooks, trains, planting flowers and enjoying the outdoors. He was a lifelong member of Whitetails Unlimited. And a member of the Elks Club.He also spent 2 years in the Army. George and Carol spent a lot of time at Lake of the Woods Campground ,at their trailer sitting on the deck watching the wildlife that came across the yard.
George was an excellent cook and made many meals on both the grill and over a wood fire. He liked spending time with the many friends he made over the years and riding in the golf cart. He became a special person in the lives of Carol’s family and grandchildren.
George was the son of the late Orville and Eleanor (Schrei) Perdue. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy and daughter Stacy. Brothers; Robert Perdue and Orville Perdue. Sister Susan Kerr, Brother-in law; Patrick Busha and sister-in laws; Judy Perdue,Sandy Perdue and Karen Perdue.
He is survived by Brothers Jim ( Ellen Dinnerman ) Perdue and Paul Perdue, Sister, Mary Busha. Brother- in law Tom Kerr and Sister- in law Lois Perdue. And many nieces and nephews.There will be a private burial in the spring.
