So sorry to learn this. I was just wondering about him last week. Worked with him when RUB started the Bye Gosh festival in the late 70s. He was a friendly, decent guy, good at his job. My condolences to his family and friends.

Jerry was such a special person. We have such happy memories of him - especially how he made us laugh. He has touched so many lives and will never be forgotten.
I was so lucky to have known Jerry and to have been given the opportunity to work with him closely at Reeve Union. Jerry had a magnetic personality that we as students needed and loved. Reeve was not the same without him after he retired my senior year, but his memory will always live on. Thank you Jerry for being such a wonderful man!
Jerry was an absolutely fabulous human being. I remember his last couple years working at Reeve as they we my first at college. He had such a quick wit as well as a wicked sense of humor and, though he may have walked fast, he was extremely patient when explaining to me the procedures and responsibilities of a committee chair as I transitioned into that position for the first time. Thank you for the memories Jerry, those whose lives you have touched will not forget you.
Jerry was a wonderful fellow, well-liked/beloved by his colleagues in campus activities work across the state as well as by his students. He was one of those folks who are always more comfortable behind the scenes than in the spotlight. Jerry was known for his hard work, sense of humor and hospitality, partiularly in intoducing many folks from across the modest to Jeff”s on Rugby. Whether through practical jokes with pals or by pointing out policy gaps or errors, Jerry was a strong presence in the Wisconsin region of the National Association for Campus Activities. My work life was made joyful for many years because of Jerry, and I’m certain my colleagues would agree. God bless and keep you, jerry, my friend. My sympathies are with your family and close friends.
