Gerald "Jerry" A. De Bauche's Obituary
Gerald "Jerry" A. De Bauche of Oshkosh, WI, 87, Passed peacefully April 15, 2021 with his family at his side. Jerry was born May 26, 1933 in Green Bay, WI to the late Clarence and Geraldine (Grognet) De Bauche. Jerry spent his youth on the Little Suamico River. After school he liked to go out on "The Bucky D" to lift fishing nets. Also spent time fishing with his younger brother Rodger "Toot". After graduating from Green Bay West High School in 1951, he then proudly joined the US Navy from 1951-1958. Jerry followed a long Career in the Food Brokerage Industry. Worked for Green Bay Foods and Dean Foods for many years, then decided to open his own brokerage company, Continental Food Marketing. During that time Jerry met and married the love of his life, Helen (Sitzberger) and her two daughters. Married for 45 years on this last Valentines Day. Family relocated to California then Jerry worked for Kruger Food, Inc as the Western Regional Salesman. Retired in 2006. Jerry enjoyed outdoor sports, fishing, hunting, golf and was an excellent down hill skier. He also loved playing the slots. He is survived by his wife Helen, Jerry's daughters: Sandra Madigan, Kristen and Natalie De Bauche. Stepdaughters: Kellie (Mark) Showers, Carrie (Daniel) Roland. Sister: Laverne Gerondale. Grandchildren: John (Stephanie), Joe, Kevin and Michael Madigan, Nichole (Steven) Casper II, Chelsea (Santo) Morales, Ryan Showers. Great grandchildren: Rylee, Sophia, Steven III and Justin "JJ". Family includes many nieces, nephews and extended family. Preceded in death by two brothers: Donald and Rodger. Grandsons: Justin Kazik and Shannon Showers. Nieces: Jill Gerondale and Kendy De Bauche. Brother-in-Law: Joseph Gerondale. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 1 pm at the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home at 865 S. Westhaven Drive. Oshkosh, WI 54904. Father Kevin Ripley will officiate.
