Gerald John Lautenschlager's Obituary
Gerald J. Lautenschlager, age 81 of Oshkosh passed away on Sunday morning January 13, 2019 at the Waterford in Oshkosh. Gerald was born in Neenah on June 26, 1937 the son of Henry and Frieda (Haldermann) Lautenschlager. He married Donna Martin on May 25, 1970 in Oshkosh. He served his Country in the U.S. Army and was employed at Oshkosh Truck from 1966 to 1999. He loved spending time in the outdoors at his cabin in Crivitz, WI.
Gerald is survived by his children; John (Lisa) Lautenschlager , Teresa (Jim Whitehouse) Lautenschlager and Sara (Terry Kiser) Lautenschlager all of Oshkosh. Two brothers; Tom Lautenschlager of Omro and Allen Lautenschlager of Oshkosh. Brother in-law Jerry (Irene)Martin, Sister in-law Margie (Joe) Kolb, Sister in-law Audrey (Steve) Zimmerman and Brother in-law Al (Sue) Martin. Granddaughter Crystal (Andy Aubrey) Hudson and Grandson Hunter Lautenschlager. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Donna in 1999, two sisters; Beverly Pringnitz, Jane Gabrilska.
The Visitation will be held at the Poklasny Funeral Home at 870 W. South Park Ave. Oshkosh, WI on Thursday January 17, 2019 from 11 am until 1 pm. Burial will be held at Lake View Cemetery
In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Gerald's name.
