Germaine A. Morasch's Obituary
Germaine A. Morasch, age 87 of Oshkosh, passed away Saturday morning, November 21, 2009 in the Aurora Medical Center. On October 14, 1922 she was born in Oshkosh, the daughter of Killian and Agnes (Kempinger) Spanbauer. Germaine was a bookkeeper for Public Service, and then she was a cook at Pucci which later became Sonny's and at Robbins. A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading and playing Bingo. On April 19, 1947 she married William "Bill" Morasch in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2009.
Her memory will be cherished by her children: Richard (Carol) Morasch of Fairfax, VA; Ronald (Carol) Morasch and Dennis (Paula) Morasch both of Oshkosh; Gregory (Linda) Morasch of Plainfield, IL, Patricia (Otto) Krueger and Nancy (Allen) Sonnleitner both of Oshkosh and Lisa (Brian) Cahoon of Pickett; her grandchildren: Julie (Tim) Last, Jennifer (Krisda) Jirochvong, Kevin Morasch, Sara (Andrew) Taylor, Michael (Kasey) Morasch, Eric (Liz) Krueger, Ryan Krueger, Jason Krueger, Adam, Alex and Troy Sonnleitner; her great-grandchildren: Abby and Kelsey Last, Ben and Tessa Jirochvong and Anna and William Morasch; her brothers: Stanley Spanbauer of Oshkosh and Robert (Rita) Spanbauer in California and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Elaine Pelky and brothers: Killian and Gregory Spanbauer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 27, 2009 in the Chapel of Lake View Memorial Park. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Friends may greet the family from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Friday at the cemetery chapel.
