Germaine Roth's Obituary
Germaine L. "Jerry" Roth, age 90, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Bethel Home. She was born on August 31, 1921 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late Edwin and Louise (Heidl) Hable. She married Robert Roth on February 14, 1948. Robert preceded her in death in 1986. Germaine greatly enjoyed reading, crocheting, casinos and traveling over the years. She will be remembered as a very friendly, outgoing and helpful person. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her memory will be cherished by three nieces, Sharon (Eugene) Stelter, Paula (Larry) Lane, Marilyn (Roger) Schuhart; a nephew, Ralph (Janice) Kosmer. She is further survived by great-nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many very dear friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Kosmer, a sister, Geraldine Stapel, a brother, Edwin Hable.
Funeral services for Germaine will be held on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr. with the Rev. Fr. William VanDeKreeke officiating. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Bethel Home on 2-west for the compassionate, loving care that was extended to Germaine while she was there.
