Gertrude Pable's Obituary
Gertrude Pable, age 91, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on Sunday september 23, 2012 at Bethel Home. She was born on May 23, 1921 the daughter of the late Anton and Johanna (Hable) Pable. Gertrude was employed at Oshkosh Bag Co., and Lenox Candle retiring in 1986. Gertrude was a devout member of St. Jude the Apostle (St. Vincent worship site). After her retirement she volunteered at Lourdes, Park View Health Care, and numerous activities at St. Vincent's. She enjoyed bus tours, movies, reading, and baking.
She will be missed by her sisters, Fran (George) Miller, Dorothy, Delores, Oshkosh, Sr. M. Virgene SSND, Elm Grove. Nieces, Ellen Miller, Marcia (Dale) Birkett, Ann (George) Sparks, great-nephews, Tony, Cris, Andrew, great-nieces, Jessica (Todd) Schneider, their children, Jillian, and Calin Schneider. Gertrude is further survived by many cousins, and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers, Alois, and Charles, and sister, Sr. Ronald SSND., in-laws, Donna Pable, and George Miller.
A Mass of Cristian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 29, at 11:00 AM in St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (St. Vincent worship site) with The Rev. William Van De Kreeke officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the hour of services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Father Carr's Place 2B. The Pable family wishes to extend a very special Thank you to the 1 west staff at Bethel Home.
