Gloria Cider's Obituary
Gloria Christine Cider, age 62, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday October 22, 2013 at her home. She was born in Oshkosh on June 14, 1951 the daughter of the late Alois and Cecelia Matsche Troiber. Gloria married Ronald Cider on October 15, 1971 in Oshkosh. She was employed at Avery Dennison Co. for fifteen years until the time of her retirement. Gloria enjoyed crocheting, crafts, watching Packer games and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; Ron Cider, of Oshkosh, two sons, Ron (Leslie) Cider JR, Oshkosh, Charlie (fiancee Amanda Leuthold) Cider, Oshkosh, one daughter; Miranda (Dan) Andersen, Menasha, two grandchildren; Ava,and William Andersen, one brother; Dale (Carol) Troiber, Oshkosh, three sisters; Carol (Jim) Moon, North Fond du Lac, Marilyn Kleinhans, Oshkosh, Cynthia Marquez, GA., mother-in-law; Ann Cider, Oshkosh, two brothers-in-law; Lyle Cole, Green Bay, Al Cider, Oshkosh, two sisters-in-law; Mary Ellen Cider, Seattle, WA., and Marie Terese Rogers, Mexico. Gloria is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother; Richard Troiber, and one sister; Julene Cole.
Funeral services for Gloria will be held in the Poklasny Funeral Home on Saturday October 26, at 1:00 PM with the Rev. William Van DeKreeke officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 11:00 AM until the hour of services.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established at a later date.
