Gregory Ilk's Obituary
Gregory C. Ilk, 95, of Oshkosh died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born November 24, 1917 in Oshkosh the son of the late Anton and Mary Dietzo Ilk. On August 14, 1944 he married Marjorie Dolan in Fond du lac. Greg was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church. He retired from Rockwell International after 42 years of service. He loved traveling, camping, photography and craft woodworking. He is survived by his wife Marjorie, three sons, Daniel (Marsha) Ilk , Gary (Collette) Ilk all of Oshkosh and Stephen (Lisa) Ilk of Prineville Oregon, two daughters, Mary Witkowski of Van Dyne and Kathleen (Gerald) Hitchcock of Oshkosh, his grandchildren, Amy and Sara Witkowski, Kari (Josh) Chilcote, Trevor, Trent (Brooke) , Aaron (Eryn), Kyle (Emily), Geoff and Nicole Ilk, Bill (Shelly), Tom and Joe (Kerstin) Hitchcock, three great grandchildren, Ellie, Cale and Annika. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Genevieve, his brother Donald and his son Geoffrey. Funeral services for Greg will be Thursday May 9, 2013 at 6pm in the Poklasny Funeral Home, Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home Thursday from 4pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers a Memorial has been established.
