Harold Francis Wolf's Obituary
Harold Francis Wolf, 92 of Oshkosh died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born May 26, 1921 in Oshkosh the son of Leo and Lillian Sabott Wolf. On December 8, 1944 he married Ellanora Detert in Newport Rhode Island. He served his Country during WWII in the U.S. Navy for 3 years aboard the USS Hydrus AKA 28, in the Atlantic and Pacific theater. He was a member of Sacred heart Catholic Church. He retired from the U.S. Motors Co. in 1984 after 35 years of service and was the former President of the local UAW union. He loved sports, especially the Packers and Brewers and enjoyed his grand children's sports activities. Harold is survived by his four children, JoAnn Wolf of Oshkosh, Ronald (Janice) Wolf of Hutto TX, Shirley (Ronald) Schuessler and Randall Wolf all of Oshkosh. He is further survived by five grand children, Jennifer Schuessler of Oshkosh, Nicole (Michael) Schuessler Sandberg of Byron MN, Erik (Megan) Schuessler of Oshkosh, Stacey (Jerry) Hunter of Winneconne and Richard (Theresa) Peterson of Larson , eight great grand children and one great great grand child. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his sister, Germaine (Clifford) Williams. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday (Today), June 29, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. Wm Van deKreeke officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Church Saturday (Today) , from 9am until the time of services. A Memorial has been established.
