HARRIS "WINK" WINKLER's Obituary
Harris “Wink” Winkler, age 82, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday November 14, 2018 at U W Hospital in Madison. He was born in Chilton WI., on March 15, 1936 the son of the late Lester and Agnes Moeller Winkler. Wink married Beverly Westphal on September 7, 1966. Until the time of Wink’s retirement he was owner/operator of Winkler Roofing in Oshkosh. Wink and Bev enjoyed many years together hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, and motorcycling on their Harley.
Wink is survived by his wife of fifty-two years Beverly Winkler, of Oshkosh, one daughter; Tammy (Joe A) Potthoff, Kaukauna, one brother; Robert “Rip” Winkler, Oshkosh, one sister; Judy (Bob) Murphy, Port Washington, four grandchildren; Kain Culver, Kandace Culver, Joe C Potthoff, Danielle Potthoff, two great-grandchildren; TayShaun Nelson, and Pharoh Nelson. Wink is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of Wink’s life will be held at Westward Ho, in Oshkosh on Sunday December 2, from 1:00-4:00 PM.
