Harry Erdmann's Obituary
Harry F. Erdmann, Jr, age 86, of Oshkosh passed away on Wednesday morning December 28, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born on December 25, 1925 the son of Harry and Lillian (Damerow) Erdmann, Sr. in Oshkosh, WI. He married Lorna L. Putnam on December 27, 1950 in Oshkosh. Harry served his Country in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during WWII. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Oshkosh. He owned and operated Pfaff sewing and Contour clock shop on Main Street for 45 years. Harry was a member of the American Legion & Last Mans Club II, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elks Club 292 and the Oshkosh Yacht Club. Harry is survived by his sons: Bill (Linda) Erdmann of Fox Lake, IL, Jeffrey (Wendy) Erdmann of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Thomas (Cyndi) Erdmann of Parker, CO and Richard (Sally) Langer of Ocala, FL. One brother: David Erdmann of Colorado Springs, CO. Fourteen grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lorna on October 20, 2009, his grandchild Richard Langer Jr. Services will be held January 8, 2012 1:00pm visitation 2:00pm service at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Oshkosh the Rev. Rae Ann Beebe will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to the American Diabetes Association 1-800-DIABETES. www.diabetes.org.
