Irene Binder Rieschl's Obituary
Irene Binder Rieschl, age 88, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 in Neenah. Irene was born May 9, 1932 in Oshkosh to the late John and Esther Binder. She married Joseph Rieschl on December 1, 1956.
Irene graduated from Oshkosh North High School in 1950. As a young child she loved walking to the quarry with friends and especially her special niece Pat. They would spend all day playing there. She had a wonderful childhood and had many friends that provided a lifetime of memories. Irene loved doing puzzles and putting together doll houses. She loved all animals and passed this love of animals down to her daughter and grandson. She especially loved dogs and collected many dog statues and read many dog books over the years. She became quite the expert on all things animals! She paid her love for animals forward by regularly donating to local shelters. Irene loved spending time with her family and loved them all very much. She very much enjoyed shopping with her daughter Marie at Christmas time and loved buying gifts for everyone. She also had many wonderful times with her grandson Brad as if they were best pals! Her fun loving nature and prankster attitude was passed onto Brad for sure!! She wanted to make sure to thank her neighbors for all the help they provided over the years. It was very much appreciated by the entire family. Her last message she wanted to pass along is "She loves you all and will always be with you."
Irene is survived by her daughter, Marie (Ronald) Burow of Neenah; one brother, Gerald (June) Binder of Oshkosh; and one grandchild, Brad (Ellen) Kuhr of Neenah. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 2003; her parents; and one brother, Ralph Binder.
Due to Covid-19, a private family service will be held.
