James Ralph Esposito's Obituary
James Ralph Esposito left us on January 3, 2024, after a short battle with lung cancer.
James, Jim Bob, Vinnie, or dad, as I called him, fought so hard to his last minute, it would be wrong to say that he lost his battle. James left us knowing our lord and savior Jesus a Christ. In him we will find rest.
He was determined to stay with his children, and grandchildren, remained positive – more positive than I could ever have asked him to be. Dad showed resilience and showed us and all those around what strength really is. Though he is no longer here, he remains forever in our hearts. If I asked dad’s loved ones how they would remember him, the top answers would be loving, loyal and he MAKES THE BEST MEATBALLS. Others knew him as a wise human, he was, simply put, a well-rounded human and a natural storyteller. He told stories like no one else. I knew dad as many people rolled into one. He was incredible, he would get me any pet I asked for and he never let me down.
After he was hospitalized, dad kept his love for life, and even during his last days, he had enough energy to still try and paint my house. We all got to watch the bears game (THEY WON). James leaves behind his wife Mary, his children Bridget (NaDaniel) Jones, Nick (Carrin) Esposito, Tonya (Chadd) Huisman. Grandkids: Brenton, Aspen, Camden, Emma, Bella, Taylor & Hailey. Siblings: Robin (Ron) Gayhart, Patty (Bill) Yeager, Doug (Jessica) Esposito. Partner Karen Haman
Psalm 103:13
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.
John 16:22
Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
