James Allen Harmon's Obituary
James A Harmon, age 89, of Oshkosh, passed away on Tuesday June 14, 2022 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born in Oshkosh on October 23, 1932 the son of the late Daniel and Pauline Allen Harmon Jr. Jim married Joan Moore in Oshkosh on April 22, 1972. Until the time of his retirement Jim was employed by North American Rockwell in Oshkosh as a Plate Inspector.
Survivors include his wife; Joan Harmon, of Oshkosh, two sons; James A Harmon JR, Oshkosh, Michael J (Mary) Harmon, VA., three daughters; Kathy (Michael) Dobos, (Champer) CO., Sara J (Richard Mrotek) Harmon, Appleton, Barbara J Harmon, CO., three grandchildren; Jennie M (Kyle) Por, VA., Michael J (Reachel) JR., Jacob V Harmon, VA., one great-grandchild; Finley C Por. Joan’s son; Donald Moore, Oshkosh, two daughters; Nancy Moore, Middleton WI., Becky (Lou Gans) Moore, CO., grandchildren; Jeremy (Bobbie) Moore, Oshkosh, Thomas (Alexandra) Murphy, South Africa, Aaron Argall, Jennifer Argall, Appleton, Erin (Eric Waeckerlin) Murphy, CO., great-grandchildren; Dominic Moore, Isabella Moore, Charly Murphy, Addison Argall, Ava Argall, Ava Waeckerlin, two brothers; Daniel (Judy) Harmon III, John (Linda) Harmon, and one sister; Anne Harmon.
Jim is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by one daughter; Mary K Harmon.
Funeral services for Jim will be held on Monday June 20, at 11:00 AM in Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Oshkosh with the Rev Andi Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:30 AM until the hour of services.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
