James "Jim" Pickart's Obituary
James A. "Jim" Pickart, age 69, of Oshkosh passed away on Saturday morning September 22, 2012 at Bethel Home. Jim was born in Oshkosh on July 9, 1943 the son of Anton and Cecilia (Stadtmueller) Pickart. He married Joan Ruedinger on April 26, 1975. Jim was employed as a carpenter for Packer Valley for many years. He was a member of St. Jude Parish (Sacred Heart Church). Jim is survived by his wife Joan Pickart of Oshkosh. Two brothers: Robert (Sue) Pickart and Paul Pickart both of Oshkosh. One sister: Mary (Dan) Polishinski of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday September 28, 2012 at 11am at St. Jude Parish (Sacred Heart Church on the corner of 6th & Knapp). Father Matt Simonar and Father William Van De Kreeke will be the celebrant's. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30am until the time of Mass. Committal services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery at 2pm on Friday. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Jim's name.
