James P. "Jimmer" Schroeder's Obituary
James P. Schroeder aka “Jimmer” aka “Papa Bear,” aged fifty-eight, passed away July 1, 2022. He was born September 14, 1963, to the late Henry and Shirley Schroeder (nèe Koeck). Jim married Kim on June 17th 2005. He dearly enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at “Da Hut” and on the pontoon. Jim is survived by his wife Kim, son Samuel (Amy) Schroeder, daughter Hollie Schroeder, granddaughter Lennon Schroeder, stepsons Paul (Alicia) Schneider, Matthew (Kimberly) Schneider, stepdaughter Mallory (Ryan) Birschbach, sister Linda (Paul) Anderson, brother Peter Schroeder, his cousin, who was more like a brother, Eric Schroeder, and many step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother John, and his sister Pam. Private services will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center at Aurora and the Aurora Visiting Nurses for their care and compassion. They would also like to thank all of Jim’s family and many friends and loved ones for all their love and support, and to remind us all that Jim is not gone: he has become a memory.
