James Sweet's Obituary
James Richard Sweet, 61 of Oshkosh died Tuesday May 15, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born January 30, 1951 in Oshkosh the son of Clifford and Nola Evanson Sweet. He married Marlene Hansel on March 22, 1991. Jim served his country as a U.S. Army veteran, was a member of the Otter St. Fishing Club and the American Legion. He was employed for many years as a Mechanic at Bergstom Automotive. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Marlene, two sons, David (Heidi) Sweet of Oshkosh and Bradley Sweet of Colorado, three step sons, Mitch (Carol) Dredske of Fla, Mike (Sheryl) Dredske of Neenah and James (Olivia) Thompson of Oshkosh. Two step daughters, Beth (Dave) Pinno of Oshkosh and Angie (Wayne) Remer of Omro. Three brothers, Clifford (Sue) Thomas (Diane) and Mike (Sue) Sweet all of Oshkosh, one sister, Patty (Wayne) Sweet of Berlin. Mother in law, Ruth Samer of Oshkosh. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Eddie, Dale and David Sweet, Andria, Mikey and Adam Dredske, Erik and Bella Thompson, Chris Pinno, Courtney and Alexis Robinson, Sydney and Brionna Pinno, Keagan, Ryley and Ethan Dittel, Hailey, Hunter, Brice and Brock Price. Funeral services for Jim will be Saturday May 19, 2012 at 12:00 noon in the Fiss and Bills Poklasny Funeral Home, the Rev Wm Van de Kreeke officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home Saturday, from 10:00 am until the time of services. A Memorial has been established. He will be missed dearly by his "special Grandson" Cody, "lap buddy" Beau and his "Princess"Bri.
