Jane Stamborski's Obituary
Jane Evelyn Stamborski, age 88 of Oshkosh died Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Century Oaks in Oshkosh. Jane was born to Louis and Sophie Detlaff Stelter in May of 1925. Jane was employed by the U.S. Government in Chicago during WWII. After the war she married Ray "Stormy" Stamborski. Jane was a secretary most of her life. She set up the office for her son"s Ambulance business and also was a dispatcher. She went on to become the office manager for Winnebago County Health Nurses for over 15 years and was also a rental agent for over 100 properties. Jane loved "up north" St Germaine area. Jane leaves behind her son Robert, her sister and brother in law, Ed and Janet Long, sister in law, June Stamborski and several nieces and good friends Dennis and Cathy Kallin and the entire Leonard Himmler family. Her long time friend, Betty McDonald of Omro. As per Janes wishes there will be no services. She will be buried at Calvary Cemetery with the Stamborski gang. Her family would like to thank Kattie and crew at Century Oaks, Lakeland Health Care, Stephanie at Heartland Hospice and Beth at Winnebago Co. A.D.R.C.
